The Independent Watchmaker Course

Our Independent Watchmaker Course is designed to provide in-depth training and mentorship to aspiring watchmakers. This intensive program aims to cultivate a deep appreciation for the artistry and technical precision of watchmaking. About the Position: Instructor of Watchmaking

In response to growing demand following our successful launch of the Independent Watchmaker Course in fall 2025, we are expanding our intake. To collaborate with our current instructor, we are seeking an experienced and committed watchmaker to join our team as an Instructor of Watchmaking. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A watchmaker degree from a reputable watchmaking school and preferably additional certificates
  • Solid experience in watchmaking, particularly in creating bespoke watches
  • A deep appreciation for traditional manual watchmaking skills and cultural heritage
  • A strong interest in learning and staying updated with the latest advancements in watchmaking
  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for teaching and mentoring students

Job Responsibilities

As an Instructor of Watchmaking, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering high-quality watchmaking instruction to international students at various levels
  • Implementing curriculum that emphasizes traditional watchmaking techniques as well as modern innovations
  • Mentoring and guiding students in their projects and practical work
  • Fostering a collaborative and supportive learning environment
  • Participating in school events and activities that promote the watchmaking profession
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of the school’s watchmaking programs
